Past Events

Ellis Paul

A 30-yr attendiee of the Woodie Guthrie fest, nationally touring singer/ songwriter Ellis Paul returned to Tulsa to cast a spell of the Treehouse this October with two glorious sets of his signature songs.

Johnny Murrell

Tulsan rock/ soul piano troubadour Johnny Murrell Rocked the Treehouse on Fri May 30th 2025, and we’ll surely have him back. A soul-stirring frontman whose sound blends Tulsa soul with New York rock & roll, his voice moves effortlessly from smokey soul to smooth pop. Having drawn comparisons to John Legend and Elton John. Johnny has performed in Austin, NYC, DC and countless other towns winning over fans with his powerful, piano-drive mix of rock, soul and swagger.

Caroline Cotter

A nationally-touring singer/ songwriter hailing from my own home state of Maine (and a fellow alum of Colby College!), Caroline graced us with her voice and gorgeous songs for a truly memorable night of folk music in spring of ‘25. You’re welcome back anytime, Caroline!

Barron Ryan

We were fortunate to have local Tulsa pianist extraordinaire Barron play here TWICE in 2025, w/ sold-out performances both times. Here’s to having him and his fantastic storytelling skills back down the road!

Mark Gibson

Local favorite Mark Gibson has been playing all over Tulsa for years, wowing audiences with his powerful blend of soul/ pop/ rock. Was a true honor to have him rock the house here to a sold-out room.

Joe Alterman

I first met Joe back in about 2014, as we were both playing Caffe Vivaldi in the West Village on the same night multiple times. I immediately knew he was on his way to being a nationally-recognized performer. 10 years later, he’s playing all over the country, and headlining top venues in NYC like Birdland, Blue Note, Eddie’s Attic in ATL and many more. Was a dream come true to have him light up the ‘61 Steinway here at the Treehouse in late 2024.

Monroe Nichols

I was lucky enough to be put in touch with our future Mayor of Tulsa back in late 2023 by my neighbor Duane Mass, as Monroe was mounting his campaign to become Tulsa’s first black mayor. We hosted Monroe twice in 2024 en route to his historic victory, with meet & greet’s to help get his vision out to the public. Proud to have played a small role in his campaign.

Casii Stephan

Local favorite Casii Stephan has the honor of being the very FIRST performer here at the Treehouse back in late 2023! Bringing her unique of soul-rock singer-songwriter magic to our ‘61 Steinway, she rocked the sold-out room of 50-plus listeners and proved to us all that the Treehouse could have a long future of welcoming performers in its future. Stay tuned for when we’ll have her back!
